Laravel Daily VIDEO
Comment-Driven and TODO-Driven Laravel
www.youtube.com
I want to quickly show you a technique I use myself for writing bigger pieces of code. Instead of sketching/planning on paper or whiteboard, I do it directly in code editor, here's how.Credits to people I've learned it from:- Adam Wathan's "Test-Driven Laravel" course (highly recommended) https://ad
Laravel-related articles from all the web
Eager load the related models of a collection

Every two weeks I send out a newsletter containing lots of interesting stuff for the modern PHP developer. You can expect quick tips, links to interesting tutorials, opinions and packages. Want to learn the cool stuff? Then sign up now! Like this simple new addition coming in Laravel 5.4.
In the end, Laravel is just PHP
jpmurray.net
I’ll always say it to anyone listening to me: I’ve learned basic coding skills in college, but I’ve never been a hardcore coder. The journey to self learning how to code, back in the late 90s, early 2000s, wasn’t filled with actual good websites to learn the cool kids the tools of the trade.
What's New in Laravel 5.5
scotch.io
At the time of this writing, Laravel 5.5 is not released yet. It is slated, as the next major release, for release in July 2017. To play around with new features and changes, you need to grab the dev release of Laravel using this Laravel Installer command: Laravel 5.5 will require PHP 7.0+.
Custom Bootstrap Pagination in Laravel

Last time I wrote about how Laravel Bootstrap Components can clean up your view files. Today I want to show how you can use this package to create a pagination with rendered Bootstrap buttons, for your custom collections.
Hiding feature from production — Laravel
hackernoon.com
I recently started working on an environment cleanup feature. The goal was very simple: erase data from Dev and Stage databases. Usually as per customer request, a copy of their database had been made somewhere and never removed.
Life of a web-developer
The Problem with Test Coverage Goals
medium.com
A lot of software companies are now starting to assign their development teams test coverage goals. These goals are generally used to give managers a number to present. They are looked at as a goal for the development team to achieve and nothing more.
Being a Full Stack Developer
www.sitepoint.com
This popular article has been updated in June 2017 to include modern technologies. A full stack developer who can get from a prototype to full MVP (minimum viable product) is often considered a jack of all trades, master of none, and with good reason.
That's it for this week, see you next Thursday! Povilas Korop LaravelDaily Team
